After the second election of George W. Bush, Writer/Director Roland Tec began taking notes. Clipping news stories from the country he saw transforming before him, Tec let his imagination roam where the headlines left off. And so were born the 13 vignettes that make up this penetrating look at a country lost in a haze of post-catastrophic neurosis. From the PR handlers scouring the redwood forest for the perfect spot for a presidential photo op to the gay teenage son of a right-wing politician to the hurricane that brought so many of vastly different backgrounds together (albeit too briefly), the characters fleshed out in this tapestry of modern American life will haunt us for years and make us wonder what has become of “The Land of the Free.”For more information on this film please click here!

We want to take this opportunity to thank you all so much for your support of us and this regions amazing talent! However, there is a new opportunity to support which will benefit The Vintage Theater immensely as well as you, the life force behind everything we do!

THE V.I.P PASS

The V.I.P (Very Important Patron) Pass was created a few months ago and very few have taken full advantage of this unique and fantastic opportunity. The V.I.P Pass gives access to almost every single event for any given month! To assist with our 2010 summer budget and to ensure our regular (and hopefully soon-to-become regular) patrons we are starting a campaign to raise awareness about the V.I.P Pass. Here is how it works…

The Vintage Theater V.I.P (Very Important Patron) Pass gives you entrance to almost every event, in addition to 10% off at the cafe and special insider e-mail updates! Each V.I.P Pass is good for one month and can be purchased at any time of the month for any upcoming month for $25.00 – ENTRANCE TO ALMOST ANY EVENT FOR ONLY $25.00!

Think of it this way…. An average Vintage Theater event ticket is $6.00, which means if you go to only five events you have already saved money, not to mention all you can save at our delicious cafe!

Please take advantage of this fantastic opportunity! Your purchase not only benefits you but allows us to further enhance our operations allowing more local performers/artists a chance to showcase and gain much needed attention for their amazing talents!

DO NOT DELAY – YOUR SUPPORT IS NEEDED NOW! Our goal for this campaign is to sell fifteen V.I.P Passes by July 1st 2010! (Click here to see all the great events you could be a part of in July)!

To purchase yours immediately please either write to info@scrantonsvintagetheater.com or call us at 570 344 6344

Thank you!
