The V.I.P (Very Important Patron) Pass was created a few months ago and very few have taken full advantage of this unique and fantastic opportunity. The V.I.P Pass gives access to almost every single event for any given month! To assist with our 2010 summer budget and to ensure our regular (and hopefully soon-to-become regular) patrons we are starting a campaign to raise awareness about the V.I.P Pass. Here is how it works…

The Vintage Theater V.I.P (Very Important Patron) Pass gives you entrance to almost every event, in addition to 10% off at the cafe and special insider e-mail updates! Each V.I.P Pass is good for one month and can be purchased at any time of the month for any upcoming month for $25.00 – ENTRANCE TO ALMOST ANY EVENT FOR ONLY $25.00!

Think of it this way….                                                                                                                                                                     An average Vintage Theater event ticket is $6.00, which means if you go to only five events you have already saved money, not to mention all you can save at our delicious cafe!

When five high school friends reunite for an evening of memories and laughter one of their own (an up and coming pianist) dies suddenly. As the four who remain delve into their pasts the secrets and failures surrounding them all come to light. Told as if it was a fire side story,the eeriness will surround you and pull you right into flames. Only one performance will be held for this special theatrical event! A Meeting of Important People

The Vintage Theater is thrilled to announce that next years main stage season (2010/2011) will feature all original/regionally written scripts. In our continuing effort to support local artists we have decided to take our productions directly from the heart of this areas playwright community. Please also note that while special consideration will be given to completed scripts general concepts/outlines for yet-to-be-completed projects will also be considered. We would love to work with you on your interesting and unique piece (even if its for a future season)!

Scripts (ranging from one to two acts) should be submitted to the theater electronically to info@scrantonsvintagetheater.com or delivered to the theater, at 119 Penn Avenue, Scranton PA, 18503.

Please be sure to include your name and contact information with all scripts (be it electronic or physical copy). Please note that there is no guarantee if any physical copy may be returned. The deadline for submissions is Friday, June 25th 2010 by 8:00 pm.
