April at The Vintage Theater
Category: NewsThe Vintage Theater has big plans for April!
For starters, its cafe menu will soon announce many new exciting items for the warmer weather (cold, frothy and sweet are three words that come to mind)!
We welcome several acts new to perform at the theater including The Ends of the Earth, Jon Lastovica, Devon McFadden, At Our Best and many more!
Some familiar favorite faces will also return such as So Long Pluto, Mat Parsons and Captain John and The Explorers (as well as the return of one of NEPA’s most amazing dance events – DUBWIZE).
This month the theater will be host to a large scaled art show featuring numerous regional artists with a focus on healthy and peaceful relationships. The Pro Peace Art Show (which is happening thanks to a partnership with The Woman’s Resource Center at The University of Scranton) will take place on April 16th. The weekend of love and peaceful energy will conclude with a 1960′s themed concert on the following day, April 17th (half of all ticket sales to benefit the resource center).
A free screening of the documentary Split Estate will occur on April 12th at 7:00 pm – with a discussion to follow.
Another major focus of the theaters this month is the first Midnight Mixer – which will take place on April 24th 2010. The midnight mixer will focus on the more “theatrical” arts with performances by Here We Are In Spain, Pictures Moved by Strings and many more!
With all these great events happening (and more to come) why not consider buying a V.I.P Pass, which will give you access to almost all of the events, 10% off at the cafe and insider updates and specials! For more information please click here!
