Ladyfest and The Vintage Theater want you to come to…

The Ladyfest Kick Off Party!

June 27th 2009 at The Vintage Theater: 6:00 PM – 10:00 PM, $5

If you haven’t already heard, Ladyfest is a rocking arts, music, and eco-friendly festival, being held for the first time here in Scranton at Nay Aug Park on July 24th. This festival (started in the late 80′s across the country) is designed to showcase and promote women in the arts, and specifically, women in music! However, don’t let the name fool you – Ladyfest is as much for the men-folk as it is for their female counterparts. Ladyfest is also in part a fundraiser for the Women’s Resource Center in Scranton.

The Ladyfest Kick Off Party will be held on Saturday, June 27th at The Vintage Theater from 6:00 PM to 10:00 PM! The party will feature artist Desiree Zileinkski,  Melissa Diltz
and Brad Kishbaugh.

        Musicale guest include No West, Empty Cases, Donnie Kirchner & Friends, Satellite, and Carlene Majorino.  In addition Alec Hinz will be showcasing his fantastic “robot art” (trust us, you have to see it, to believe it). Food and drink will be provided by Eden: A Vegan Cafe, which you can find on the 300 block of Adams in downtown Scranton!

All of this for just $5!?!?! It’s crazy – but true!
