Cafe Update
Category: Scranton's Vintage Theater WebsiteGreetings!
As you may (or very well may not know) The Vintage Theater will be featuring an AMAZING in-house cafe. The cafe was set to open the first weekend of October, HOWEVER – due to forces beyond our control it has been postponed to the first weekend of November.
While we wish it could be sooner it is MUCH better this way. Suspense IS the best form of marketing…(mwahaha)! However, just in case you didn’t know OR just in case you were curious here is a little background information for you!
The cafe (operated by Scranton Rhythm) will be open seven days a week, 3:00 PM to Midnight! These hours MAY seem strange, but understand that we are targeting the after work/school rush AND providing a late night, safe, warm atmosphere. The cafe will be open during most performances/concerts/events.
The socially/economically responsible coffee is provided by local roaster Brian Williams thru his amazing enterprise, Grateful Roast Coffee Company. Thanks to him and his spectacular business we will serve two single origins, an espresso, a decaf AND an original (totally ours) house blend!
We will also sell (of course) teas, fresh-fruit smoothies, milkshakes, and juices. In way of food we will have delicious fresh fruit platters (with dipping sauces) and other yummy light-finer foods. There is more, but let’s keep a bit of mystery, shall we?
Although the cafes grand opening will be November 6th, 7th, and 8th – it MAY be open up to two weeks before then (so stay tuned).
The grand opening will coincide with our fall production, a world premier adaptation of Pride & Prejudice (by Jane Austen) written by Joanna Norland.
